A collaboration 'tween Parisians Arnaud Rebotini and Kill the DJ tag head Ivan Smagghe, Shirley Temple Strobe fuses together traces of acidulous techno, death discotheque, industrial, and neo-trance with their discrete sound. Both former employees of the Rough Trade terpsichore section, the grouping released their debut recording on the third base installment of the Sourcelab compilations in 1996 with the night club hymn "Genus Paris Back breaker Metropolis." The couple recorded several tracks that appeared on legion compilations and released a chronological sequence of 12" singles on the Output imprint from 2000-2004. The group has too remixed roughly of the near venerable artists of the indie electronic apparent movement, including Axis Party and Alter Ego, and has as well lent their remixing skills to synth pop juggernauts Depeche Mode and EBM pioneers Nitzer Ebb. The duet is expected to release a invoke of their remix put to work in Oct 2006. A full-length record album is slated for tone ending on Beggars Feast in Feb 2007.
