Home Secretary: "We need to control Glitter"




Home Secretary Jacqui Smith has said that she does not want Gary Glitter to be
able to travel abroad once he has returned to Britain.








The vocaliser - material name Paul Gadd - is presently on his way gage to Britain
after coating a prison house sentence in Vietnam for abusing children.



"We demand to control him, and he will be, in one case he returns to this country,"
Ms Smith told the wireless station talkSPORT.



She added: "It sure enough would be my aspect that with the sorting of book
that he's got, he shouldn't be travelling anywhere in the world,"



"I want Gary Glitter to be controlled whilst he's here and I don't want
him to be able to go anywhere else in the world in order to abuse children."



Glitter will be required to sign the sex offenders' register and will have to
give notice the government if he wants to travel abroad.



Glitter's attorney Le Thanh Kinh aforementioned that his client went to the British
consulate after organism released from Thu Duc jail in Binh Thuan at 11.30am
local time (5.30am UK time).



He added: "I spoke to him just now and he said everything is OK. He is
happy to be going home. He was in a good humour."



Glitter was transported in a Jeep under constabulary guard to the airport. On his
arrival he was taken inside through a VIP entrance around an minute before the
flight took off. He is due to change planes in Bangkok, Thailand, and come
in London tomorrow good afternoon.

Founders of the East Oakland underground collective Living Legends, PSC and BFAP formed as Mystik Journeymen in 1992. Southern Californian PSC drug-addicted up with BFAP in Oakland patch visiting a girlfriend, and by and by affected to get married the group (at the clock time, it included a few other rappers wHO later drifted out). The pair became local legends by 1994, throwing parties (Underground Surivivors) and marketing mixtapes. One year later, the Grouch began contributive and, after hit the road doing shows as far away as Europe, Mystik Journeymen formed the Living Legends work party with new recruits including 3 Melancholy Gypsys (aka Murs, Eligh, and Scarub), Moonrocks (aka Bicasso and Nebulus), Aesop, and Arata. The duo's label, LLCrew, had begun cathartic records by 1995, and Mystik Journeymen released a parade of LPs during the future few days, highlighted by 1995's 4001: The Stolen Legacy and 1996's Pressed 4 Time. (They'd also expanded their touring base to include the Far East and Australia.) By 1999, the work party had affected from the Bay Area to Los Angeles and with The Black Sands ov Eternia, began releasing records through and through Outhouse/Revenge. In 2002 Mystik Journeymen eventually released a coup d'oeil of their rightly praised concert designate with the LP Living Legends: Live, and their ninth album, Conjuring trick, followed tardy that year.

Coldplay launches world tour in North America

After next month's free show in New York City, British alt-rockers Coldplay [ tickets ] will dive into a full North American outing to support their forthcoming album, "Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends."The first leg of the band's world tour officially kicks off July 2 in Washington, DC, and currently encompasses nearly 30 dates across the US and Canada through November. In the midst of the trek, Coldplay will jet to Japan Aug. 9-10 for the Summer Sonic Festival. North American shows are listed below and those overseas can be found at the group's website.Last month, Coldplay announced it would play a free show at New York City's Madison Square Garden June 23 to preview "Viva la Vida." Hopeful concert-goers can sign up at the band's website to win tickets, and one lucky fan will also score airfare from their home town and hotel accommodations. Coldplay has also booked a similar free concert June 16 at London's Brixton Academy."Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends" is slated to hit North American record outlets June 17. Fans who pre-order the set from Apple's iTunes Music Store will be able to download the title track immediately, and will get two free bonus tracks upon release.The album's lead single, "Violet Hill," recently made its radio debut and is holding steady in the Top 20 on Billboard's Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart. The tune is streaming at Coldplay's MySpace page."Viva la Vida," produced by Brian Eno and Markus Dravs, follows Coldplay's 2005 Grammy-nominated set, "X&Y," which entered The Billboard 200 at No. 1. Celebs support Dancing on Ice stars

The 'Dancing on Ice' finalists have revealed that their celebrity friends have been offering them plenty of support throughout the series.
According to Digital Spy, finalist Zaraah Abrahams said that her former co-stars at 'Coronation Street' have been very kind to her.
"I've received lots of support from people from 'Coronation Street'," she said.
"They've rung me constantly throughout the show telling me how well I'm doing, to keep going."
Abrahams also said: "They've come down to support me - whether they're celebs or not they're just friends and family and it's been great."
Fellow finalist Chris Fountain said: "I've had a lot of support from the 'Hollyoaks' cast."
"After every show you go back to your phone and you've got 52 messages and it's people you've not spoken to for ages and people you see every day. Any support from anybody is a real good thing."
Suzanne Shaw, who has also made the final of the skating show, said: "I don't have any celebrity friends. [But] Myleene's called me loads of times."

Ex Jackson praises K-Fed's parenting skills

Kevin Federline's former partner Shar Jackson, who has two children with him, has praised the rapper's parenting skills.
Federline is currently the primary legal guardian of his two young sons with singer Britney Spears, who has had all her visitation rights stripped by the courts.
According to People magazine, Jackson said of Federline: "You know, he can't worry about what's going on outside his household."
"That's the only way you can stay sane and stay focused. You just can't worry about the stuff that's going on outside your house. You have to just protect everybody inside your home and stay focused on that."
She praised Federline's parenting skills, saying: "I've always said he's an amazing father... it's just now people decide they want to listen. He's an awesome dude. He makes mistakes - people do that. It's part of life."
